Consistency? What's that?

Have you ever noticed how inconsistent some people are in their supposed "beliefs"? Think about this: Those who are supposed to be the champions, the protectors of the sacredness of life; those who cry out with every death of a soldier in Iraq; those who demand that the death penalty be abolished without any argument, just happen to be the same people who advocate the murder of 1,000,000 unborn children a year? If life is so precious, why the double standard?

Yes, there are those who believe in the first two above and not the third. But what about the others who believe all three? Is anyone going to challenge them on this blaring inconsistency? Or is this endeavor useless in a postmodern age where truth is no longer existent?

Your opinions, please.
